Our cargo area shelf is a great add on. perfect for storing awkward items like chairs.
Made from 3mm thick aluminum for lightness and strength.
FITTING
1.Attach the back panel as shown with the bolts supplied
2.Attach the side brackets, but leave the bolts loose for now.
3. Remove the plastic covers on the roof . Be careful with the bolt holding the front plastic trim on...If you drop the bolt you will need to pull down the trim underneath to get to the dropped bolt....
4. Insert the new trim pieces. these should just snap into plate. make sure the bolt holes line up.
5. Now this part is easier with 2 people, but can be done on your own. Lift the shelf into position and screw in the M8 bolts , leave loose.
6. Once all the M8 bolts are in you can start to tighten...dont go mad.
7. Now position the shelf and start to tighten the M6 bolts. Start with the front bolts closest to you, that way it will hold the shelf in position whilst you lean over to get to the rest of the bolts.
8. give it a shake and make sure you havent missed any bolts....
9. Load her up....ok use your common sense here... dont got mad with heavy stuff up here. I have put my chairs here, snatch rope, just light gear.
